Lang AG y Panasonic

The European wholesaler Lang AG y Panasonic expand their business relationship to provide their AV clients with competitive advantages in the rental and events sector, following the investment made in the manufacturer's new RQ25K series of projectors.

In an increasingly complex AV market for the rental sectors, events, theme parks and other entertainment venues, professionals in the sector seek a differential advantage with the latest technologies.

Rising transportation costs and staff shortages, along with increasingly flexible requests from event creators, are the main challenges that these companies face.

In this context, Lang AG, one of the largest rental companies of visual technologies and assembly for events, has announced its investment in the new series RQ25K from Panasonic, with the purchase of one hundred units of these compact and lightweight projectors 3 chips DLP, with a shine of until 20.000 lumens and resolution 4K.

This is how he explains it Tobias Lang, CEO of Lang AG: “This important investment and the expansion of our more than thirty-year relationship with Panasonic will help our customers meet the current challenges in the sector”.

Panasonic PT-RQ25KThe RQ25K series of projectors “offers cutting-edge visual technology, that wows audiences with the latest and greatest image quality, agiliza los flujos de trabajo para permitir una configuración y un control de manera rápida y eficaz y una fiabilidad inigualable”, Subraya Lang.

Lang AG's investment in this equipment responds to the advantages it offers to its customers in the rental sector. Panasonic RQ25K is one 40% more compact and a 35% lighter than previous RQ22K series, so that projectors are easier for rental and assembly companies to transport and more convenient to install.

Besides, the RQ25K series simplifies everything; from installation to operation, with features that save time and streamline workflow. Integration into larger systems is also quick and easy, and they are the first Panasonic projectors with a slot for Intel Smart Display Module (SDM).

“From the moment Panasonic introduced its first 20.000 lumens in 2012, has defined the sector - says Lang -. We immediately saw the benefits of the new RQ25K series for our customers. With the SDM slot, new reference standards have been established in terms of configuration and connectivity, allowing you to connect to IP based systems, like his cut PTZ Kairos”.

Lang's CEO also adds his business proposal: “we deliberately decided bet on 4K technology, as we saw the market moving towards higher resolutions. That's why we have unified the range in 4K. “We hope to be one of the first European providers to offer this innovative AV technology for our rental customers.”.

To Jan Markus Jahn, head of the Media Entertainment Business Unit en Panasonic Connect Europe, “this investment by Lang AG in the RQ25 series, along with IP-based PTZ cameras and the Kairos production platform, means that it will be one of the first companies capable of offering its clients a complete workflow, IP based glass-to-glass. This is an important milestone for the AV industry that opens new opportunities for show and event staging companies., especially when it comes to hybrid and live productions”.
