Australia to showcase world's largest drone show at Wintjiri Wiru
From next 11 of may, Ayers Rock Resort will showcase an immersive telling of ancient Anangu stories in the sky over the Australian desert, through the show Wintjiri Wiru, for which the specialist Ramus will use more than a thousand choreographed luminous drones.
Billed as the world's largest ongoing drone show so far, Wintjiri Wiru (whose meaning is “beautiful view towards the horizon”), will be presented next May at Uluru (Ayers Rock), a sacred place for indigenous Australian people, to showcase ancient Aboriginal narratives in an immersive lighting environment provided by more than a thousand unmanned devices.
He immersive drone show, light and sound, who is organizing Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia, features design and production by Australian media architecture studio Ramus, which is based on the culture and history of traditional Anangu landowners, focusing on a chapter of ancient Mala history, which recounts an ancient enmity between this town and the mulga seed men.

Visitors will take a seat in this open-air theater in the desert, located on the top of a dune, where in addition to enjoying the show that will cover the immersive and visual narration with more than a thousand choreographed drones, in the Pitjantjatjara and Yankunytjatjara languages, in addition to listening to recordings of traditional ceremonies, You can also taste native ingredients.
Wintjiri Wiru will join the iconic illuminated installation Field of light (light field) directed by Bruce Murno, which has become one of Uluru's most popular attractions.
