Econocom converts the AV business into its fourth strategic activity

The business model of Econocom Group in the audiovisual area will now become its fourth strategic activity, bringing together the rest of the company's AV operations and in response to the growth achieved.

For some years now, the business model of Econocom Group has been based on three complementary strategic activities: Financing, Products & Solutions (P&S) y Services, to which is now added that of OF, “due to the significant growth of the audiovisual business, in which the company is well positioned to occupy the leadership in this industry with a growing future throughout Europe”, assures the president of the board of directors, Jean-Louis Bouchard.

Econocom's audiovisual capabilities are currently deployed in the following companies: Exaprobe, technology expert smart office (audiovisual, digitization of jobs, unified communications); network infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions; y BIS|Econocom, specialized in audiovisual solutions and services, unified communications and digital signage.

Besides, The company has long had experience in the AV environment within its Product activities. & Solutions in France, Spain and Italy, that he represented in his exercise 2022 some annual income of 350 million euros.

Jean Pierre Overbeek, DG BIS|Econocom, who will direct the audiovisual activity in the company explains that “many multinationals are looking for cross-border solutions, following the demands of standardization and ease of use for an increasing number of assets. “This new activity demonstrates our commitment to providing clients with the best possible services and integrated solutions.”.

In this line, Jaime Villanueva, activity director P&S in Spain, adds that “our experience in audiovisual matters, with a turnover figure in Spain of 45 million euros, representa he 35% of the global turnover of P&S. The creation of this activity consolidates our international position in the market and complements us at the level of synergies, together with the possibility of offering global and holistic solutions to our clients”.
