The project was carried out together with IA Architects to design and execute a solution based on the Kscape Rail technology.

“By designing and developing Pavion's Raleigh office, we had three critical approaches: our people, our clients and innovation”, explains Kristina VanderBrink, Pavion Southeast Regional Sales Director. “People are the center of our solutions. The biggest requests we received from all members of our team when designing our new space focused on the quality of the lighting installed., workplace acoustics and providing plenty of natural light. Our mission was focused on finding the right space and partners to best incorporate these features. That was a determining factor to work with K-Array and Kscape”.

Kscape Rail stands out as the centerpiece of the integration. Offering professional audio and tunable RGB and white lighting, Its versatility has made it a clear choice for Pavion.

Integrated lighting modes were ideal for Pavion's zoned spaces. Once installed, the team would be in control, through Casambi, to adjust the lighting and, therefore, the atmosphere of each area, whether to improve productivity during the workday or to create atmosphere for evening events. Besides, The cost effectiveness of using a single device for multiple functions further reinforced the decision.

The installation spanned a variety of spaces within Pavion's new facility in Raleigh, including formal and informal meeting rooms, personal offices, a lounge and reception area, open-plan workspaces and a customer experience center.

A total of 75 Rail units suspended from the ceiling, that structure the entire system and guarantee uniform and consistent coverage of both sound and light in the different spaces. Rail is not only very capable in terms of audio distribution, but also contributes to the overall aesthetic of the office spaces, providing striking lines of light that further modernize the space.

The audio provided by Rail is enhanced with the integration of four subwoofers K-array Rumble, in the reception area and experience center.

“We opted for Rail arranged diagonally in the living room and reception area”, explica VanderBrink. “This reflects the shape of the exterior wall, something you typically can't do when designing lighting in an office space”.

In terms of other technologies, Pavion chose video screens LG in each of your meeting rooms and personal office spaces, enabling crystal-clear playback during video calls and presentations, And camera and microphone units were chosen 2 in 1 Poly Studio for its ease. of use.

“A key objective of this project was to provide a customer experience center where we could host events for customers and allow them to collaborate, design and get inspired by our new space”, VanderBrink continues. “We believe in delivering effortless customer experiences and installing Rail within our experience center helps us achieve this”.
