Peerless AV a VertigoThe latest additions that the company Vertigo Systems has carried out in its exhibition hall in Cologne, there have been two installations made with screens living surface and for its assembly the supports of Peerless AV.

The provider of software 3D Vertigo Systems develops and supplies real-time interactive attractions with content displayed on the ground, table and wall for a variety of public settings, including leisure centers, museums, zoos, hotels, healthcare waiting areas, indoor playgrounds, retail stores, showrooms and trade fair stands.

with the solution living surface, Vertigo can turn any surface into an interactive area, with software, a graphics PC and infrared image sensor technology at the core. The image is produced using projectors, pantallas Led o LCD, Led-grids or stackable point-of-sale display cubes (POS).

The new Vertigo showroom in Cologne (Germany) It is a space where customers can visit and experience the potential of these content platforms, from advertising campaigns and event marketing to virtual play areas and in-store experiences.

The latest additions have been two installations carried out in the exhibition room with screens living surface and for its assembly, Peerless-AV supports have been used.

For the first installation living surface a has been configured videowall of 3×3 and has been recessed with a wall cabinet. This solution works without contact, recognizes body or arm movement, offering a more natural way, intuitive and fluid to interact with digital content.

Available for purchase or long term rental, Customers can choose from a wide range of interactive content (artificial life, sports simulation, mosaic/tracing/erase/poster effect, fluid simulation, dynamic particles) or use effects apps to create individually branded content.

In showroom installation, The content is a realistic underwater world where users can explore and interact with fish.

For the second installation of an 'interactive ocean', a screen has been mounted on the wall 75 inches that recognizes movement and touch, allowing the viewer to interact with the reef's sea creatures through a photorealistic simulation in real time.

He content is 9x FHD, up to more than 18 megapixels, which offers the possibility to choose different camera angles, as well as the chance to follow the fish through the underwater world and experience the reef action up close, like he was exploring like a diver. Depending on the time of day, fish population and light change according to the position of the sun.

“Visitors to the showroom are really impressed by the 3D graphics that give the content and brand motifs a high quality.”. For such immersive attractions, technology must have the right platform to present itself, whether it's a projector, an individual panel or a video wall. Then there is the support to consider. And you must master many things to ensure the facility is safe for public interaction, in addition to offering a perfectly aligned image with narrow bevels and a uniform surface”, comments Oliver Bunsen, CEO of Vertigo Systems.

For this project, Vertigo Systems was responsible for the installation, choosing the SmartMount Full-Service Video Wall Mount with Quick Release (DS-VW765-LQR) and the SmartMount Universal Flat Wall Mount (ST670P). Both models are characterized by their versatility.

Interactive installations

The first step of the installation process was to fabricate a custom wall cabinet with a cutout for the LCD video screen of 3×3 (9 panels). Since the video screen had to be flush with the recessed wall and, therefore, it was not possible to carry out maintenance tasks from behind, The stand needed to have a pull-out feature so that individual screens could be extended and serviced as needed.

He DS-VW765-LQR wall mount Features a quick release feature that allows users to detach a screen from the wall by gently pressing on the front. Also offers a custom wall plate and micro-adjustment of 8 tool-free points to make installation and adjustment as simple and quick as possible.

Once the supports are installed in the hole, wiring was done and, next, they hung and aligned the pantallas de videowall FHD of 49 inches, which resulted in a 'living wall' image larger than real life.

“The installation team is convinced by the simplicity of the bracket design, its slim profile and flexible fit options. For these reasons, and by the fact that only one employee must visit the site to carry out maintenance tasks without having to unhook the screen, we can keep time and costs to a minimum when we are on site on all our projects”, adds Oliver Bunsen.

For professional individual display 75 inches, he ST670P provided perfect horizontal and vertical adjustability, which allowed it to be leveled after installation and placed side to side. This made it easy to find the perfect screen position. He sistema Hook-and-Hang made it easy to install by one person and the Easy-Glide adapters Clipped onto wall plate for quick overall installation, simple and secure.

The result in the showroom is a “living ocean” large-format interactive that draws the viewer into the underwater world.

The two 'living surface' installations were completed with ease, since Vertigo Systems has a lot of experience in handling Peerless-AV supports and in building these attractions.

“This is a really awesome product., that uses complex 3D graphics programming to develop virtual reality realms and bring clients' ideas to life. We are very pleased to be the media supplier of choice in these showrooms and in all of the facilities of “living surface” from all over the country with Vertigo systems”, afirma Patrick father, sales manager in Germany.
