WSDG deploys its technology for room acoustics at MEET

This technology competition for events and theater that takes place starting tomorrow in Vienna (Austria), has been chosen by Walters-Storyk Design Group (WSDG) to showcase their latest advances in architectural acoustics and immersive audio in these environments.

The biennial fair MEET It will open its doors tomorrow to celebrate its edition 2024 in Mass Vienna, with the participation of more than eighty exhibitors that will deploy the latest innovations in technology for events and theater until next time 7 November.

The architectural acoustics and audiovisual systems consultant WSDG will have an active participation (pavilion D – stand F2) both to show professionals their progress in this environment and new projects and in the official training program.

Dirk Noy, partner and director of applied science and engineering at WSDG, will impart the 7 November the conference titled Room acoustics and electroacoustics in theater construction: immersive audio experiences for modern stages, in which he will explain “the fundamental role played by room acoustics and electroacoustics for the natural propagation of sound in theatrical spaces”.

At his conference, Noy will also demonstrate how to use electroacoustic systems and recording technologies. immersive audio to create an intense and expansive sound experience in event and performing arts spaces, with recently completed and upcoming projects.
