Sharp strengthens its European IT services business with Apsia
In its strategy to become a global provider of IT services in Europe, Sharp has acquired the French company Apsia.
Sharp Europe has acquired the French company Apsia, specialized in digital transformation and cloud integration, as part of the Japanese company's strategy to strengthen its business area IT services in Europe.
The Apsia Acquisition, that billed 22,5 millions in 2022 and employs 150 professionals, comes after that of the Swiss ITpoint AG (ITP) in 2021, operations aimed at turning Sharp into a comprehensive provider of solutions for the Smart Office environment in the European market.
According to Yoichi Tomota, presidente de Sharp Electronics Europe, “This acquisition represents a key strategic step in our mission to expand and strengthen our presence and IT services offering in the region.”. Like Sharp, Apsia puts the customer at the center of its priorities, which is in line with our vision of constantly adapting to the changing needs of our current and future customers in Europe”.
Sharp Europe serves clients in the public and private sectors, including education and administration, with an offer that includes printing equipment, collaboration platforms and a growing offering of IT services.
For your part, Apsia, which will continue to operate under its own brand in the French market, offers a wide range of services including ERP and CRM in the cloud, cybersecurity, data analysis and artificial intelligence, in addition to consulting and implementation of solutions.
