The MT Helmets MSI MotoGP team trusts Audio-Technica for the audio of its reception area in the paddock

MT Helmets MSI, Moto2 championship winning team 2024, contacted Audio-Technica and its Optimal Audio solution for its double truck reception area in the paddock area during competitions.

Audio-Technica has close ties to MotoGP production, working side by side in their production with Dorna Sports, to develop and deliver on-track and on-board microphone technologies for race day audio capture, and were delighted to be asked to help the MT Helmets MSI team with a solution.

The team needed a high-quality audio system that would work on both detachable trucks., but let it be easy to set up and use for hospitality room equipment and non-technical staff. To connect the audio system to trucks, Audio-Technica Created Custom-Designed Weatherproof Junction Boxes. Race day hospitality must meet the changing needs of runners, sponsors, visitors and staff from morning to night. During the day, The event space is a relaxation area with a central covered terrace, to eat and watch the race action and playback on the suite's giant screens. Once the races are over, the space transforms at night into a dance floor with a DJ, where the important podium positions are held.

Audio in different configurations

Designed as a three-zone, two-truck configuration or as a single-truck configuration with one internal zone and one external zone, the main truck housed the catering equipment and main feed entrances.
