Los Christie Inspire Series 1DLP Laser Projectors are creating immersive experiences at BYD's new energy vehicle museum in Zhengzhou, the first of its kind in China.

Known as BYD Zhengzhou Di Space, this space of 15.000 square meters offers an immersive tour of the innovation and technology of new energy vehicles. Distributed over four floors and with more than 300 exhibitions, visitors explore interactive visual narratives that combine science, technology and engineering, showcasing BYD's vision for the future of sustainable mobility.

To bring this concept to life, have been installed 26 Christie laser projectors DWU860-iS, offering vibrant and realistic images in each of the themed areas.

Display, partner de Christie, has been responsible for the installation and commissioning of the projectors, that illuminate from the striking main wall of the first floor to the surrounding space, the exhibition hall and detailed presentations on the second floor.

Immersive visual experiences

Projections inside the museum vary in size, with the largest reaching 14×4 meters and others smaller than 1.6×1,6 metros, creating a variety of important experiences.

According to Hong, One of the biggest challenges of the project was manually adjusting the projection angles to accommodate the intricate details of the design., thus optimizing the visual impact and reinforcing the message of innovation and sustainability.

Inspire series projectors offer WUXGA or 4K UHD resolution and even 9.600 brightness lumens, making them ideal for small to medium sized environments.

Equipped with fixed motorized zoom lens 1.25-2.0:1, a dust-resistant optical engine with IP5X certification and operation capacity 24/7, DWU760-iS models, DWU860-iS, DWU960-iS, DWU960ST-iS and 4K860-iS have been designed to create immersive and immersive experiences that captivate visitors.
