DAS Audio helps merge gastronomy and technology in Katsin

Its interior design combines noble materials such as wood, metal and natural stone, creating a warm atmosphere, elegant and with a marked personality.

More than a restaurant, Katsin is a place designed to enjoy without rushing. From the early hours of the day until late at night, the space offers different experiences in the same environment: sophisticated scenes, cocktails, live shows and DJ sessions that mark the liveliest moment of the day

In a short time it has become a reference both for those who live in the city and for those who discover it for the first time., Katsin represents the new face of a capital that evolves without losing sight of its roots.

Duality of space

The main challenge of the project was finding a sound solution that fluidly adapted to the duality of the space.. During the day and early evening, Katsin operates as a restaurant, where music should discreetly accompany without interfering with the gastronomic experience. However, as the night progresses, the atmosphere transforms and the music takes center stage. The same space that hosts quiet dinners becomes a dance area with DJ sets and live shows.

This transformation in the same space required a versatile system, capable of delivering detailed and controlled sound at low volumes, but also with power, stickiness and uniform coverage in moments of greatest intensity. Besides, the interior design of the premises -care, with noble materials and elegant aesthetics- required the speakers to be integrated discreetly, without breaking the visual harmony of the environment.

All of this had to be resolved without compromising the customer experience in any phase of the day and allowing easy control by the store's own team..

To respond to the different needs of the project, A distributed sound system was designed and carefully adapted to the architecture and use of the space. The installation combined speakers of the series Artec y Quantum, taking advantage of the specific advantages of each model.
