Planning and installation

Franchise owners wanted a three-screen menu board, but they requested that the design be adapted to accommodate a digital display central flanked by two static panels with the intention of converting these into digital panels in the future.

Designed to maintain uniform brand consistency across all three screens, static panels would show menu content and prices. With the same dimensions as the screen LG, The signs are made of aluminum sheets riveted to the support, with vinyl prints on top. A canopy that protects the solution is equipped with lighting for better visibility during the evening and night.

Main Event accommodated the specified budget and contacted Peerless-AV as a Platinum distributor of the brand's stands and cart/stand solutions for over 10 years. This was Main Event's first drive-thru installation, and they knew that Peerless-AV had experience in this field with its range of indoor and outdoor displays, digital kiosks and menu boards.

The selected product was a Peerless-AV outdoor digital menu board compatible with an external screen LG 55XE4F-M de 55 inches (KOF555-3). Extras purchased include a speaker/microphone kit (KOF-OPT-SPK), and fan for media player (KOF-OPT-FAN), an internal media player tray (KOF-OPT-SHELF) and one power distribution unit (KOF-OPT-ELECTRICAL).

Specific hardware was also required to mount the LG 55XE4F screen on the KOF555 menu board (KOF-OPT-LG). The stand features a design that allows air to circulate around the screen panel to prevent overheating.

The outdoor triple digital menu board was chosen for its modular design, allowing screens to be installed from the front without interfering with adjacent units. This design is useful if the franchise prefers to change the other two static screens to digital ones in the future.. The Peerless-AV Outdoor Menu Board also offers a stylish design, IP54 certified to ensure a robust solution, weather and vandal resistant, for reliable use 24/7.

For the indoor digital menu boards, Main Event chose four Peerless-AV SmartMount digital menu board mounts with height and depth adjustment (DS-MBZ647L) to LG UH7 series screens 49 inches.
