ISE creates CyberSecurity Summit to address threats in the AV sector
The incorporation of this cybersecurity congress in the edition 2026 of WHEREAS Addresses the growing challenges facing the professional AV and systems integration industries, in a context where digital threats increasingly affect business environments, institutional and leisure.
The content program of WHEREAS 2026, which will take place 3 al 6 from February to Barcelona Gran Vía Fair, is reinforced with CyberSecurity Summit, that will focus on immediate action, innovation in defense and resilience of the AV and integration sector of systems.
CyberSecurity Summit will take place on 5 February 2026; a meeting in which experts from the sector will address the growing cybersecurity challenges facing the professional AV and systems integration industries, in a context where digital threats increasingly affect critical infrastructure, smart buildings, public facilities and services.
This announcement from the organization coincides with the European Cybersecurity Month, an initiative coordinated by Enis and the European Commission to encourage safer digital practices between companies, institutions and citizens. With cybercrime on the rise in Europe and around the world, “this new ISE congress comes at a particularly opportune time”.
Business priority for AV
As AV systems become more deeply connected and integrated into enterprise environments, institutional and leisure, are exposed to same vulnerabilities as IT infrastructures traditional.
