experiential space

The result was a more connected festival, with images that could be updated in real time on a large scale to entertain and educate fans, improving their overall experience by ensuring they didn't miss a single moment. Soundstorm's Big Beast main stage also underwent an impressive renovation this year. “Having worked with Visual Noise on the festival since 2021, We knew attendees were expecting a visual spectacle on the Big Beast stage”, states Yvonne Donnelly Smith, Director of Concert Tours and Live Music Events at PRG. “In the past, We limited ourselves to making Notch effects with the camera on a canvas of 16:9. This year, we took one more step. We wanted to offer artists the flexibility to use different designs on the stage LED canvas, which was composed of a mixture of panels with a pixel size of 4 mm, 5 mm y 8 mm. With the GX 3 and the GX 3+, we were confident we had the processing power to do it without latency issues”.

PRG also optimized production, saving hours of time creating a library of Notch content and guiding artists through a preview workflow in the GX 3+ before the live show, which ensured that all images were accurately mapped and live performances were executed to perfection.

The CEO of Disguise, Fernando Küfer, highlights that “after having powered Soundstorm's Big Beast stage, that broke records last year, we are proud to return and collaborate with Visual Noise, PRG, MediaPro and our extensive network of partners to transform the festival experience and raise the bar for fan engagement.
