SNS brings backup and archiving to the cloud with Trio

Studio Network Solutions (SNS) has been announced at ISE 2026, Trio, a new S3-compatible cloud storage service fully integrated with EVO for backup workflows, media archiving and disaster recovery.

Cloud backups

Thanks to Slingshot automation engine integrated into EVO, Users can schedule recurring replication tasks directly from their EVO server to Trio for secure, automated cloud backups. Users can also initiate non-recurring replication tasks to sync media to the cloud on demand.
Trio for cloud archiving

Users can manage their archived media in Trio directly from the multimedia asset manager (MAM) ShareBrowser integrated into EVO. Editors can submit projects, completed files and folders to Trio to recover valuable space on your EVO for active and future work. Even after the content has been securely archived and removed from EVO, Your computer retains the ability to preview archived media in ShareBrowser. This improved visibility allows users to listen to and restore only the files they need, avoiding unnecessary restoration of archived media.

Disaster recovery

Designed to offer security and stability, Trio offers multiple layers of data protection, from encryption and immutability to global distribution, to protect against single points of failure. If data recovery is necessary, Trio is designed for restore data efficiently, without excessive costs.

Trio is currently available as an extension of the EVO ecosystem and as a cloud storage service independent of SNS.
