Alfalite Exhibition Center Ljubljana

He Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Center now in its renovated main hall -Marmorna Hall- con 40 m² of Led technology Alfalite, the largest fixed Led screen indoor of the country, which sets a new benchmark in the presentation of large format events in the Slovenian MICE sector.

The new Led screen from the Spanish manufacturer Alfalite installed in the Marmorna Hall of the Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Center, the main exhibition center in Slovenia, of 8,40×4,72 metros, replaces a previous projection system.

This display system equips the Finepix MATIX UHD solution 1.8 AlfaCOB from Alfalite, composed of 196 Led panels with a pixel pitch of 1,8 mm, offering high luminosity, Accurate color rendition and consistent image performance, even in strong natural light conditions.

Alfalite Exhibition Center LjubljanaAnd key requirement for the choice of Alfalite in this project has been that it is currently the only European manufacturer of Led screens which designs and produces its panels entirely in Europe, thus prioritizing standards in this region, operational security and long-term technical support for a venue that hosts hundreds of international events every year.

The Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Center celebrates around 250 annual events and receive up to 500.000 visitors, including major international congresses and high-level meetings such as the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. In this context, day fVisual reliability and image clarity are critical factors.

This is what he points out Bricl outlet, CEO of the Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Center, “we organize large conferences with between 1.300 y 2.000 participants. The quality of the Led screen and the ease of maintenance were decisive factors for us. We needed a solution that guaranteed performance and immediate technical support if necessary. With a European partner, we have that guarantee”.

The project was developed in collaboration with the Austrian integrator Wallerie, part of Lanner Media, and the installation was carried out jointly with the Alfalite technical team under the direction of Sebastian Cabrera, CTO of the Spanish manufacturer. The complete process of Assembly was completed in just two days, guaranteeing minimal interference in the venue's event agenda.

Alfalite Exhibition Center LjubljanaThe choice of brand was clear from the beginning of the project. “The client explicitly requested a European manufacturer of Led screens,” explains Sebastián Cabrera.. Beyond regulatory compliance and safety standards, they were looking long term reliability, image quality and ease of maintenance. Our MATIX AlfaCOB technology offers high durability, excellent thermal performance and simplified service, “essential aspects in permanent installations that operate throughout the year”.

The installation carried out at the Ljubljana exhibition center “also reflects a growing trend towards replacement of traditional projection systems with direct viewing LED solutions -adds Cabrera-, capable of offering greater brightness, Better contrast and consistent performance, regardless of ambient light conditions.”.

For your part, Sebastian Lanner, managing director de Wallerie, adds that “for an international conference center, and Fast top-level support and operational security are fundamental. The combination of Led modules manufactured in Europe, with regional technical presence, “It brings confidence and long-term stability to the facility.”.

The installation includes a redundant control system to ensure uninterrupted operation during live events. Its fine pixel pitch, of 1.8 mm, allows detailed visualization of content, especially relevant at medical conferences and data-driven presentations where accuracy is essential.

“This project demonstrates how European collaboration can deliver technical excellence. It's not just about installing a big screen, but to provide a visual infrastructure prepared for the future in one of the main congress centers in the region”, concludes Cabrera.
