Samsung wraps the Sleeplab sleep tent in 60 meters of LED screens
The Sleeplab space in the department store Metro Paragon is supported by a U-shaped LED screen 60 meters of Samsung to turn the shopping experience into a multi-sensory experience.
Sleeplab is part of the efforts of Metro retail transformation to attract the buyers by creating a immersive space for those looking to improve their sleep experience. The space, composed of Pave System, evokes sensory experiences through vista, the smell and the touch, helping shoppers imagine what a good night's sleep could be like.
In the newly opened Sleeplab, buyers are greeted by a screen LED Samsung commercial IEA series (LED signage IE025A) in the form of U de 60,72 m, that wraps around three sides of the exhibition area. This is the largest installation of IEA series displays in an indoor retail environment in Singapore.
In order to generate the content of the screens, Metro collaborated with the South Korean company Inhabitant to create Seven Chapters of Sleep, a movie of digital art 15 minutes which takes advantage of the unique display configuration and advanced function LED HDR (High Dynamic Range) to create an immersive dreamscape for shoppers as they try out bedding in the area.
The film transports shoppers through flowers, the vastness of the oceans and outer space, underscoring “the experience of deep, restful sleep that every person can experience.” The sample is accompanied by ambient audio parts creating a relaxing environment while shoppers try out mattresses and bedding.
