Mike Blackman

The general director of Integrated Systems Events (WHEREAS), Mike Blackman, will be in charge of delivering the inaugural conference of the SAVe 2026 Global Conference, that will be celebrated on days 13 y 14 October 2026 at the UCLA Campus in Los Angeles organized by SAVe Sustainability in AV, international non-profit organization focused on promoting sustainability within the professional audiovisual industry.

Christina De Bono, founder and president of SAVe, points out that “Michael Blackman to talk about how a commitment to sustainability drives innovation in the AV sector. We are enormously excited to have him to share his knowledge with our attendees.. As an industry leader at the helm of the world's largest showcase of AV technology, is uniquely positioned to inform and inspire not only our conference participants, but to the sector as a whole”.

Shortly after the founding of SAVe in 2022, ISE showed its interest in collaborating with this independent non-profit organization based in the United States to promote sustainability in the audiovisual industry. In the following months, SAVe became an official sustainability partner of ISE and, in January 2023, participated for the first time in the fair. WHEREAS 2026 marked SAVe's fourth presence at the event in this condition.

At the head of the organization Integrated Systems Europe (WHEREAS) in Barcelona, Blackman acknowledges that “from the beginning, Partnering with SAVe was a natural step for us. At ISE we understand sustainability not as an isolated initiative, but as a responsibility that must be integrated into the entire AV ecosystem. By working together to advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals within our industry, we are helping to generate real change on a global scale, connecting innovation with purpose and ensuring that the growth of our sector is responsible and future-oriented”.

“It's hard to overstate the value of having Michael Blackman as a keynote speaker at SAVe 2026. The motto of this year's edition is Lead the Change (Lead the change), and its presence sends a very clear message to our industry and the world: that the AV sector is stepping forward to help respond to the needs of the present in a way that allows future generations to also meet theirs”, concludes De Bono.
