Nexo installa un versatile sistema de audio en el Kulturhuset Stadsteatern Husby en Estocolmo
The Swedish distributor Intersonic design and install an audio system Nexus ePS, especially versatile, in theater Cultural center Stadsteatern Husby located in the Järva neighborhood (Stockholm).
Life is not always easy for those who grow up in the Järva district, northwest of Stockholm, an area characterized by its architecture from the years 60 and with a young and multicultural population of around 90 000 inhabitants. In the center of the area's Husby Square is a branch of the established theater Kulturhuset Stadsteatern, where music and culture are part of the broader Fokus Järva initiative, a policy-based urban development strategy that includes dialogue on urban planning, education, meaningful work and leisure for young people.
The building houses one of the largest art galleries in the Swedish capital, along with a space for newly created plays, a dance hall and a cinema. Such a varied repertoire requires a particularly versatile sound system, In this case a system Nexo ePS recently designed and installed by Swedish distribution partner Intersonic.
Nexo ePS Series
Stefan Ljungkvist, Intersonic sales director, highlights that “the same space hosts both live performances and film screenings, and it is important that technology adapts to the content rather than dominating it. The installation is based entirely on the cost-effective Nexo ePS series: subwoofers ePS10 y eLS600 as main, ePS8 for surround sound and eLS18 as floor subwoofer”.
“During theatrical use, The system works as L/C/R with surround sound, prioritizing speech clarity and room dynamics. During movie screenings, the room changes to a system Dolby Atmos 7.1: the same speakers, a new context. It is a solution designed for changing between formats, for quick transitions, for demands that vary from one show to another. Technology exists to transmit content, not to draw attention to herself”, duck.
“We are proud to work with Kulturhuset Stadsteatern in close collaboration with AVS and Cinema Design to implement a sound and film installation that reinforces culture, education and youth participation in the Järva area”, concluye Heather twig.
