Matrox will deploy its new Mura MPX video wall management solutions and its Avio KVM extension solutions on the displays of its partner Mitsubishi within the framework of the I/ITSEC training and simulation conference 2011 held in Orlando (EU) between the 28 of November and 1 December.

Matrox Graphics has announced that new products from its Avio KVM extender lines and Mura MPX Series collaborative video wall matrix management cards will be used together for the first time at I/ITSEC 2011. Based on the great success of the exhibition that Matrox did together with Mitsubishi in Integrate 2011, Avio will develop unzipped triple display simulation content from a remote station one kilometer away from the main workstation, while Mura cards capture and display simulation data on a video wall display composed of six Mitsubishi DLP projection cubes.

Mura is the new standard in video wall technology and its unique single-slot design features both inputs and outputs on the same PCI Express x16 Gen2 card., allowing you to take advantage of full duplex data transfer. 64 Gbit/s for flawless display of HD input captures, without prejudice to the frame rate, color or resolution. MPX Series input/output cards offer highly flexible universal input channel support for both digital and analog video (HD, DVI, RGB/VGA, component, S-video and composite) and capture and display them with full RGB888 image quality. Combining MPX video capture cards with input/output cards allows for additional analog video inputs.

Mura ensures high-definition performance of training and simulation systems using displays, Mitsubishi projectors and hubs, while multiple Mura cards can also be combined to create high-density, scalable video walls for control rooms, operation centers and other mission-critical environments.

Matt Krstulja, Director of Sales and Datawall at Mitsubishi Electric, has commented: “We are very happy with the positive response we have received with our Matrox-based solutions. “Matrox’s multi-display graphics performance showcases the best of our displays and has been the perfect complement to our latest visual technologies.”.

Samuel Recine, Director of Sales for the Americas and Asia-Pacific at Matrox Graphics, has noted that they are “proud to showcase our latest high-end display solutions in collaboration with Mitsubishi. Combining Mitsubishi's leading display products with our graphics hardware will enable IT and AV system integrators to reach the pinnacle of high-intensity multi-user content display., “whatever the application”.
