The Opening Ceremony behind the scenes

1. The story:
The Opening Ceremony was led by director Danny Boyle. The scenes in which projectors were used consisted of a montage of 40 years of british pop songs. While the music was playing, Some of the most memorable videos and music clips were projected in a large house above the stage. The stadium turned into a jukebox, with an encyclopedic survey of the history of British music.

Los 26 Projectors showed images on the walls of a multi-dimensional structure in the center of the stage.
The installation method was:

3. Projection mapping
Projection mapping is a technique that can turn almost any surface into a dynamic video screen.. Projected images are warped and masked to fit perfectly onto irregularly shaped screens with specific software (Panasonic uses a geometric adjustment function). Warped and masked images transform surfaces into completely different objects, physically impossible bumps appearing, and other visual effects surprise and excite viewers.
