An extensive Ethernet network has been installed in this space, infrastructure that allows the connection of 23 players para digital signage BrightSign HD120 y HD1020, responsible for supplying and synchronizing the content to a video wall screen composed of 19 pantallas Full HD 1080p.
Sound is implemented with two BrightSign players and an EM100 expansion module. Six audio channels fill the space with sound effects and ambient audio in tune with the video display. The other four BrightSign players power projectors that display content on a series of large white sail-shaped screens..
A nautical and technological event
“It is expected that this will be a great event and will become the showcase of the best technology that is emerging from Silicon Valley”, explica Jeff Hastings, CEO de BrightSign.
Emirates Team New Zealand is a two-time winner of the event and is expected to be a leading contender for this year's title..
This installation at the America's Cup is the latest collaborative development between the Toulouse Group and BrightSign. In recent years, Toulouse Group has used BrightSign digital signage players in many locations, including the International Award-winning New Zealand Pavilion and the Shanghai World Expo, as well as the Rotorua Museum in New Zealand and, recently, has made an installation at the Carter Observatory New Zealand.
“The America's Cup is much more than a nautical competition, It is an event that brings together the international sailing community for a month, and our presence in the city of the Copa de América will be the home of the team until September”, explains Marc Simpson, founder and director of Toulouse Group. “This hospitality room is the off-the-Water representation of the team and our country, Therefore, it is important that the most innovative technology is taken into account in its construction and BrightSign has allowed us to do precisely this”.
The America's Cup sailing officially begins on 4 July and will last almost three months. The final will be held from 7 al 21 September.
