BBVA Bancomer bets on digital signage to become the first branch 100% interactive from Mexico

Install a digital signage circuit, remotely controlled and showing a corporate and service television channel, in harmony with ATMs has been BBVA Bancomer's commitment, which has become the first fully digital branch in Mexico, thanks to BroadSign and Motions ADS systems, in the project integrated by Kolo DS.

The financial institution BBA Bancomer, one of the largest in Mexico, has opted for dynamic communication and digital signage technology to create an interactive and visual environment with its clients and visitors in the project carried out in the Perisur Shopping Center in Mexico City, a reference in Latin America in this environment.

For this project of great technological complexity, The bank contacted the integrator specialized in digital signage DS bike, that from the hand of partners like BroadSign y Motions ADS has managed to capture the digital design and development that Bancomer wanted.

The first challenge was to design a custom curved LED screen, with more than 27 meters long and 2,5 m. tall, that covered the area intended to create the digital bank branch in this shopping center. This huge display has a 4K graphic resolution (Ultra High Resolution – UHD), that offers 4.480 base pixels per 416 pixels high, con 6 mm. pixel pitch con LED SMD BlackFace, con 16 bits por color real.

For your part, BroadSign has developed and synchronized the content displayed on the screen through its management software platform, installed in a rack prepared specifically for this project, with Intel Core i7 processor and redundant system to transmit video uninterruptedly (24×7) if any incident occurs. In this sense, The system is programmed to turn off the entire installation in the event of a prolonged lack of power and to restart when everything is fine., preserving equipment from damage and always ensuring optimal operation.

The solution is completed with a high-quality sound system, composed of fourteen Trust Atlas model speakers, distributed throughout this digital space.
