The Vi2000 is Soundcraft's new digital live sound mixer

This solution, which can be seen at the Earpro stand at the Afial show 2016, combines control surface concepts based on the Vistonics interface with the integrated DSP and I/O core, SpiderCore.

The Vi2000 is the latest addition to the Vi series of digital live mixers from Soundcraft. In a compact and cost-effective format, offers high mixing power to installation markets, touring and corporate.

This digital mixer combines control surface concepts based on the Vistonics interface (Also included in Vi3000 models, Vi5000 y Vi7000) con el Soundcraft SpiderCore, a powerful integrated DSP and input and output core, based on Studer technology, so compact as to be housed inside the control surface itself.

With V6.1 software for mixing consoles, The Vi2000 benefits from BSS's DPR901ii dynamic equalizer via a plug-in processing module, which also includes a Lexicon multi-effects, as well as the ability to insert any external device.

Plus a full set of built-in mic/line inputs and outputs, configurable for up to 48 mic/line inputs and 16 line outputs, using combinations of XLR modules 16 channels in 4 slots located in the rear, the Vi2000 includes 2 expansion slots 64 canales, that allow you to connect up to 2 MADI-based stageboxes.

Alternatively, these 2 slots offer access to the extensive range of optional D21 input and output cards, allowing all industry standard audio formats. The total count of inputs and outputs of the Vi2000 is 246 tickets and 246 Departures.

Like other Vi series consoles, an integrated 64" Dante interface×64 channels offers a direct record/playback connection via Ethernet to any PC or MAC based recording software and allows integration into a Dante network, already existing.

The Dante interface is complemented by an additional optical MADI interface, Designed for recording signals or for connecting the Soundcraft Realtime Rack Plug-in core, adding the power of Universal Audio's UAD plug-ins to the crystal-clear sound quality of the Vi2000.

This list of features is completed with a design of 1,15 meters wide and with 16 input faders and 8 output, allowing the console to fit applications with space and budget constraints.

Proprietary features like Faderglow, VM2 microphone monitoring and Vistonics offer a very intuitive mixing experience. The sound quality of this mixer is ensured by a DSP environment of 40 floating point bit, on which Studer algorithms run, BSS, Lexicon y Dbx.

The Soundcraft Vi2000 mixing console, which is the result of the integration of Harman in different disciplines of professional audio, is presented at the stand Earpro has in the living room Afial, which is being celebrated since 26 al 28 April at the Madrid Arena.
