Large format art installations
The Barcelona creative studio Hamill Industries presents 'Vortex', a geometric array of light and smoke boxes suspended from the ceiling that react to sound. The boxes activate in sync, lighting up and creating swirls of smoke that flood the entire space, generating an immersive experience for the viewer.
For your part, Barcelona design studio Onionlab presents 'Al_Vectors', an immersive installation that plays with the artificial intelligence of robots and the search for light. The connection between a laser and the movements of robotic arms will create geometric patterns that will flood the space, creating a game of reflections.
The third installation of the creativity studio adidas NMD Room by PlayModes is 'Cluster', an immersive audiovisual installation adapted to one of the Fabra i Coats rooms. The installation geometrically schematizes the space using lighting instruments that generate an audiovisual discourse in real time., transforming it into something abstract through light and sound.
In the first Digital Art Gallery inaugurated by MIRA 2016 a selection of digital works by nine visual artists will be presented, national and international, who participate in this edition of the festival, like boldtron; Entter; Eyesberg; Dave Gaskarth; Florence To; Jem the Misfit; Konx-on-Pax; Marcel Bago, y Onionlab.
