Both organizations have designed the AVT exam schedule in Spanish 2016/2017, which will take place in different Spanish cities, including Barcelona, Valencia, San Sebastian and Madrid, whose certificate guarantees its holders practical knowledge of the vocabulary and technical foundations of the audiovisual environment.

El degree of Technologist (AVT) summoned by InfoComm y Afial It is an intermediate step to access the higher CTS certificate. This test lasts ninety minutes, with a questionnaire format of one hundred questions about the InfoComm online course 'The fundamentals of the AV industry for technical and sales professionals'.

For this, The InfoComm Advisory Council in Spain and the host companies offer free access to the aforementioned course to all people who register for the exams. Once the questionnaire has been successfully completed, Participants will receive the AVT certificate that will add value to their knowledge, will improve their professional skills and allow them to offer their work with greater confidence.

InfoComm Pam TaggartPam Taggart, Chief Development Director for Europe at InfoComm International (in the image), explains that “the success of the first AVT exam in Spanish, held last May in Valencia revealed the great interest of the Spanish audiovisual community in improving their professional skills. We trust that the completion of these new exams in different regions of the country will facilitate an even greater number of applicants to take the step to accredit the basic levels of competence to work successfully in this sector.".

As in the previous call (more information at Digital AV Magazine), The exams will be taken in Spanish and will be supervised by James Woods, of Woods Engineering, which has a license from InfoComm International to carry out the tests in person in Spain.
