Christie and Avollusion illuminate iconic buildings at first Hong Kong Lumieres Festival
Spectacular light installations and video projections on the facades star, until the 25 November, the nights of this event that is held for the first time in this special administrative region of China.

In these three nights of light and creation, the multinational Christie has collaborated with its technology in some of the facilities, in collaboration with your partner Avollusion, In addition, both companies are technological partners of this multidisciplinary festival of visual and light art creations., performances, audio effects and audience interaction.

Among the most notable creations of this collaboration is an attractive projection mapping on the façade of the Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong, one of the most exclusive luxury hotels in the world. The projection canvas, what measures 34 meters wide and 33 high, illuminates with ten Christie Boxer 4K30 3DLP projectors, managed by this manufacturer's Pandoras Box servers, with content designed and produced entirely by Christie 360.
Besides, Christie has an interactive booth near the hotel to increase the user experience, which has been called LUX, and that elevates the traditional event photo booth to the level of an interactive experience, in which visitors are invited to pose for a snapshot.
Subsequently and using analog light sources, virtual brushes and custom software, snapshot is transformed into a dynamic digital art piece thanks to Christie's team of light painters. The best visual elements are then projected onto the façade of the Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong as part of projection mapping.
