Sony improves and expands its Teos range to transform workspaces

The new generation of Teos solutions offers thirty updates and improvements to create a more efficient work environment, collaborative and productive in companies.

Among the updates and additions to the Teos range of Sony Professional Solutions Europe highlight the new Teos Player; compatibility with more additional brands; a unique email-to-digital signage feature (email to signage), as well as improvements in room booking and the option to implement Teos Manage through the cloud.

By giving users greater control and flexibility over how they use devices and meeting spaces, this wide range of corporate solutions from Sony boosts productivity, creativity, communication and collaboration in the workplace.

The latest additions complement the existing range of Teos solutions, which includes Teos Connect, for wireless content transmission; Teos Book, for room reservation; Teos Reception, the virtual reception solution; Teos Remote, for meeting room control; Teos Tablets, for this type professional portable devices, y Teos Manage, for workspace management.

The new solutions incorporated into the range are:

Teos Player: compact player that runs Android and offers 4K HDR at 60p, giving any monitor or projector access to the same Teos Manage features offered by Sony's Bravia professional monitors..

This allows organizations, regardless of the legacy equipment they use, benefit from the manufacturer's new corporate solutions.

Cloud deployment: Businesses can now benefit from Teos cloud-based implementation, which provides greater flexibility and gives users easy access to Teos Manage whenever and wherever they need it.

In addition to improving efficiency, allows organizations to free up valuable storage space, that can use on-premises deployment in environments where data must remain on-premises

Email to signage function: an innovative new way to create and represent digital signage that dramatically simplifies the process for non-technical users. Includes everything you need to create PowerPoint slides and, later, send them by email to a predetermined address.

Teos Manage automates all the preliminary work in the background. Users can create custom signage quickly and easily, without the large scale of complete signage design workflows or specific training or knowledge.

Other updates and functions added to the range are interactive alarms, that allow non-Teos devices to be used to insert alarm content; compatibility with new brands of monitors and the PJLink protocol for projectors; automatic cancellation and search for another room options for Teos Book solution.

Added to this is also the new GDPR management option for the virtual reception solution; the internal Teos calendar (after Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 and Google Agenda); RFID support to read employee cards for room reservation and virtual reception; the product service management system; Compatibility with touch signage to simplify the creation of interactive content, as well as database backup features and new templates.
