Sharp continues to expand its 8K offering with the 8M-B70AU LCD screen

With more than 33 million pixels, LCD screen 70 inch 8M-B70AU offers HDR functionality (HLG/PQ) and a maximum brightness of 1.000 nits.

Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SICA), division of Sharp Electronics, has unveiled its first generation of 8K Ultra HD displays with the LCD model of 70 inches 8M-B70AU.

The screen offers the latest in high definition, conforms to 8K Ultra HD standard (7.680×4.320 pixels), and offers HDR functionality (HLG/PQ), with a maximum brightness of 1.000 nits.

With more than 33 million pixels, The 8M-B70AU allows a pixel resolution 16 times larger than Full HD. While users standing close to a Full HD monitor can distinguish individual pixels, those of an 8K Ultra HD screen are not visible to the naked eye. This provides such realistic images, and with such a feeling of depth, that feels like they are real.

Used in the educational environment, offers the possibility of enlarging images of objects and architectural structures, providing a detailed view of the complex techniques used by its creators.
