The projectors and video processor from the multinational Christie have been the basis of this gigantic screen, of 1.500 m2, installed for the Game XP event, held at the Olympic Park in Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil.

This gigantic amusement and competition park for video game lovers brought together in four days 100.000 competitors and fans, who enjoyed official championships and launches of new products from the main companies in the sector.

The directors of Omelet Company, organizers of this event, along with Rock in Rio y Globe Group, They wanted advanced audiovisual equipment to ensure a truly impressive viewing experience..

After contacting Ricardo Laporta, by Christie Brazil, and with Daniel Monteiro, one of the experts in rental & stagingof the multinational in this country, they worked with the Brazilian integrator Midia Point to design a matrix, based on four Boxer 4K30 projectors from this manufacturer, to light up this huge screen.

Thanks to its native 4K resolution, 3DLP technology, 30.000 lumens, omnidirectional capability, small size and 68 Kg. of weight, among other features of the Boxer 4K30 projectors, Its installation at various angles to cover the entire screen was optimal, to which was added that the sum of the four projectors offered a total of 120.000 lumens.

Spyder X80 was used to manage the contents, Christie's powerful multi-window, multi-screen processor and content manager, capable of handling 4K at a 60Hz refresh rate on a single channel.
