Vitelsa carries out the AV equipment for the headquarters of the University Defense Center in Madrid

This organization has entrusted Vitelsa with the audiovisual equipment and start-up project for its headquarters in Madrid, with the aim of incorporating new technologies that transform and improve the workflows of their research and teaching activities.

Created to train future medical officers, the University Defense Center (CUD) It is an organization that brings together the higher education activities offered internally by the Ministry of Defense, assigning their studies in each area to one of the reference universities present in the region.

Specifically, The CUD headquarters in Madrid is attached to the University of Alcalá de Henares, combining educational and scientific research activities in the military and civil fields.

Precisely because of these skills, The institution has always opted for the constant modernization of its educational facilities, already confident in the experience of Vitelsa for its engineering project and start-up of the new audiovisual equipment at its Madrid headquarters, incorporating new technologies that transform and improve their research and teaching activities.

The project carried out has made it possible to significantly improve the multimedia equipment in the classrooms, the medical laboratory and the management office, incorporating latest generation HD systems capable of producing, manage and distribute new training content.

To improve the development of teaching activities, high-brightness Full HD projection systems have been integrated into the training classrooms., interconnected with a new professional sound system to allow optimal monitoring of the training content used in classes.

Additionally, An audio and video network has been configured in each classroom that allows sharing, either wired or wireless, multimedia content from all types of sources (PC, tablet, etc,…), which encourages training sessions to be more dynamic and interactive.

This infrastructure is controlled from the teacher's desk, where an integrated connection point has been installed, from which you can select at any time the contents that will be displayed in the classroom.

A new audiovisual network has been designed for the medical laboratory, that integrates, through specific wiring, multi-workstation HD video switchers and scalers and research devices, such as electron microscopes.

The medical AV signals coming from the different microscopes can be selected by the teacher, as well as being dynamically distributed through a wireless system to the different high-definition, large-format LED monitors installed in the laboratory.. In this way, medical images and training multimedia content are processed and scaled so that students can view them optimally.

Finally, A multimedia content presentation system has been installed in the CUD management office in Madrid, capable of wirelessly managing high resolution content, which speeds up and favors interactivity in the development of teaching faculty, and allows them to contribute content in a simple and dynamic way from their own laptops.

A state-of-the-art 4K LED monitor has been selected for the room as a large-format display interface., on which you can also view medical images from the electron microscope present in the cabinet.
