NEC will install one of the largest Led screens in the world in a control center in Saudi Arabia

The agreement signed with Saudi Telecom Company includes the installation of a 256 m2 and a pixel pitch of 1,5 mm; as well as 200 video wall and smaller LED displays in your UNOC.

NEC Display Solutions Europe has signed an agreement with Saudi Telecom Company (STC) to install a Led screen in the company's main network operations center. This will be one of the largest Led screens in the world located in a control center, with dimensions of 256 square meters and a pixel pitch of 1,5 mm.

The agreement with the telecommunications company, It also includes the installation of 200 video wall and smaller LED screens in the Unified Network Operation Center (UNOC) which is located on the STC campus in Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.

”This agreement reflects STC's effort to create strategic alliances with global entities, that allow us to offer digital services and innovative solutions to our clients, allowing the digital transformation of our country”, comments Abdullah Al Mazrou, GM of Buildings and Fleet Management at STC.

NEC's participation in the project includes design, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the video wall.

“NEC covers the entire project, since the initial studies, design and manufacturing to installation, testing and commissioning of the service. We will provide the right display technology and specialized processing solution best suited for network operations centers and, also, for data centers, company security control and operations rooms”, Bernd Eberhardt's affirmation, President and CEO of NEC Display Solutions.

Junto a Saudi Media Systems, will be responsible for the supply and installation of about 216 video wall units, meeting room screens and other smaller Led solutions. Besides, the company will provide the specialized processors necessary for the proper functioning of UNOC.
