Crestron sets a new standard for collaboration with its dual UC solution
The new Flex MX unified communications system supports all types of meetings on any platform, including one-touch joining for Microsoft Teams apps, Zoom Rooms, in addition to the Byod option on the same device.
The Flex MX solution is the new addition of Crestron to its range of Unified Communications video conferencing (CU) in meeting rooms, which offers both the native ability to run applications Microsoft Teams y Zoom Rooms like bringing your own device (Byod), providing a flexible solution so that users can connect on any platform and anywhere.
As Ranjan Singh points out, vp. product and technology executive at Crestron, “Our focus has always been on delivering innovations that simplify workflows and help people be more productive.”. Collaboration is key to a successful workplace, so it only makes sense that technology is also collaborative”.
Crestron Flex MX offers organizations the unique flexibility of running native Microsoft Teams software (UC-MX150-T) o Zoom Rooms (UC-MX150-Z), or seamlessly switch to Byod mode for all other conferencing software.
This way, for organizations standardized on Microsoft Teams or Zoom rooms, the Flex MX solution delivers those native experiences, while guests can plug in their laptops and use any software they are already running on their devices. This eliminates the worry of a meeting room not supporting a user's call..
“This capability is unprecedented to date among CU products., and truly changes the game when it comes to enabling streamlined connectivity and collaboration.”, emphasize from the manufacturer.
Other advantages of Flex MX is that it simplifies the connection to the room screen, requiring only one cable; offers HDMI and USB connectivity for content sharing and video conferencing, to which is added a smart camera with a 150º field of view and 360° quad microphones.
“The Flex series, and specifically the new Flex MX models, eliminates one of the main impediments to smooth and productive meetings: attendees who use different UC platforms - says Joe Sarrasin, CU strategy director at Crestron-. It is the only product line on the market that allows people to work together, regardless of location or web collaboration application, and this is the definition of the future of the workplace”.
The Crestron Flex product line includes solutions for all types of meeting spaces, from private offices and small meeting rooms to the largest boardrooms. Solutions include smart sound bars, desk phones and desktop video conferencing systems.
