Powersoft develops plugins for the Q-SYS and Crestron control ecosystems

The Mezzo series and the amplifiers of the Duecanali ranges, Quattrocanali and Ottocanali from the manufacturer have these updates that offer greater control over their functions and facilitate user customization.

The audio manufacturer Powersoft has presented the new plugins, free download, supporting the Mezzo series and its amplifier platforms dedicated to non-DSP installation for control ecosystems Q-SYS y Crestron, to facilitate control of network-based amplifier functions through third-party systems.

These plugins have a simple and modern interface, expanded functionality and a high level of customization for the user compared to the previous ones. Besides, a new Q-SYS plugin that supports the DSP+D versions of the Duecanali series, Quattrocanali, Ottocanali, X and T is scheduled to launch this summer with new functionality.

These Mezzo Series Plugins Extend Third-Party Network-Based Interoperability to Powersoft's New Mezzo Half-Rack Installation Amplifiers, allowing Q-SYS and Crestron controllers to access many key functions, including power and standby; LED flashing/identification; source selection priority; gain control, etc.

Read-only functionality allows the control unit to additionally poll and display the serial number, mains voltage, height meters and a wide range of alarm notifications.

Regarding the Duecanali series, Quattrocanali y Ottoconali, These plugins upgrade and improve control via Q-SYS and Crestron for powerful non-DSP amplifier installation line.

This way, Users will now have full control over muting and unmuting; gain attenuation, maximum output voltage, disabling standby and flashing/identification function.

Read-only access will transmit the amplifier name, DSP switch settings, alarm notifications and measurement.

Powersoft's new Q-SYS plug-ins allow users to conveniently drag and drop control elements to quickly create custom interfaces without breaking functionality or removing control from the plugin's original user interface.

Supported Powersoft amplifiers can communicate with any Crestron series processor 3 through the new plugins. Integrators can choose touch panel formats, iOS, Android, PC or tablet from this manufacturer to create custom graphics tailored to the intended use cases.

In addition to Q-SYS and Crestron, Powersoft products are now compatible with numerous control ecosystems, including those from Extron, Symetrix, Xilica and Atlona.
