LG Display takes a step beyond flexible screens and begins the development of extendable panels
The company will carry out the national extendable screen project in South Korea, together with the support of a group of around twenty companies, universities and research institutes. Its objective is to achieve 2024 solutions that can be stretched up to a 20%.
LG has been selected by the Ministry of Commerce, South Korea Industry and Energy (MOTION) to develop your national project of extendable screens.

To carry out this project, LG has the support of a group of 21 entities, which include companies, research institutes and universities. All entities will collaborate in the development of materials, relevant components and equipment to create a robust environment for Korea's future display technologies.
