SmartMetals Mounting Solutions becomes property of the Vogel's Group

For two years they have been working closely together and, now, Vogel's has acquired one hundred percent of the shares with the aim of creating greater synergy in cooperation and positioning itself in the B2B sector.

The Group Vogel’s has acquired one hundred percent of the company SmartMetals Mounting Solutions. In 2018, The Eindhoven-based family business acquired a majority stake in SmartMetals which also develops mounting solutions for AV equipment.

Since then, Both companies have worked closely for the business market and given the results, Vogel’s has acquired the remaining shares of Vincent Rekveldt, until recently co-owner of SmartMetals Mounting Solutions.

“With this complete acquisition, Vogel's Group continues its path towards growth and expansion, even as a specialist in the professional market. In the current situation, short-term outlook for the professional market may be somewhat uncertain, but for the medium and long term, we see growth opportunities. After 2018, We committed to working collaboratively on product innovation and international growth. The cooperation has already brought benefits to both companies in recent years. In 2019, R&D and product management divisions of Vogel's and SmartMetals were integrated into a new Product Development Center in Den Bosch, creating Europe's largest for professional AV mounting solutions. The engineers, designers and product managers work together there to develop the latest and innovative solutions for the professional AV installation market.
