Vioso provides immersive projection to create life-size plan maps

Plan Live wanted a simple solution to show their clients the plans of the house they had designed, that had the ability to upload new content, change projected plans in real time and control the entire system with a simple touch on a tablet.

To power the system, Servant and his team specified a media server Anystation Media Octo, with wide angle calibration kit, and the system Vioso Room, which allows Plan Live to easily combine projectors, con Vertex managing all content playback.

For the director of Vioso, The most challenging aspect of the project was related to the requirement to reproduce floor plans exactly as in real life. “Since the idea is to project plans on the floor to scale 1:1, we had to provide extreme precision for mixing and warping the content: “one meter on the plane should be exactly one meter on the floor.”.

This was possible thanks to software Core by Vioso, whose latest version includes a system of 3D calibration advanced and easy to use, with perfect pixel distribution. Using Core, The team at this company referred to “measurements and markers on the ground that allowed us to ensure a perfect scale of 1:1”, Servant points out..

After calibration with Vioso Core, The team created a presentation program in Vertex and the touch interface for the tablet, in addition to providing Plan Live with training on how to make the most of the new system.
