A large-format LED screen envelops the visitor in the universe of Galactica
Bloquetech y Tecco They have been in charge of designing and manufacturing the curved Led screen, of more than 12 square meters and 550.000 pixels, that welcomes visitors to the astronomy dissemination center of Teruel Galactic.
The center for the dissemination and practice of astronomy Galactic, located in the municipality of Arcos de las Salinas, opened its doors last July with the aim of converting Teruel and, specifically to the Gúdar-Javalambre region, as a reference destination in terms of astrotourism.
Bloquetech y Tecco, two Aragonese companies specialized in the design and execution of exhibition spaces, have participated jointly in this project, equipping with audiovisual technology the space dedicated to the sky and the importance of its quality for the observation of the cosmos.
A Curved LED panel of 4,25 meters wide by three meters high welcomes visitors upon arrival at the astronomy center. This has been designed and manufactured to suit the space by the Blocktech and Tecco teams., respecting the curvature with the latest high resolution LED technology. His more than 550.000 pixels surround the visitor in the universe of Galactica.
Besides, to inform about the activities and exhibition contents of the museum, Blocktech and Tecco have installed a videowall composed of 6 directory-like screens whose contents have also been created by the design team.
These multimedia contents, Like those on the Led screen, they are managed remotely and centrally through the digital signage platform. Aracast Digital Signage de Tecco.
Galactica is a unique space in Europe with these characteristics, since it combines the dissemination of astronomy with observation as a central element, It has professional instrumentation and the sky itself is the natural planetarium.
The center will offer up to 4 September part of its exhibition contents and an extensive program of activities, with the expectation of reaching this summer the 5.000 visitors and their sights set on reaching the 110.000 in the next four years.
