Samsung exhibits at ISE 2023 the new era of sustainable digital signage

Samsung's proposal in this edition of ISE materializes in showing its sustainability initiatives based on its environmental strategyl, which the company announced in September 2022 and that are now taking shape in their new solutions.

These sustainable practices that Samsung presents in its space are based on the five stages of the product life cycle: catering, production, distribution, use and recycling.
Smart signage products for 2023 developed by Samsung, with the ranges QHC, QMC, QBC as referents, are approximately a 40% thinner than the manufacturer's previous models, with a thickness of 28,5 mm. Thanks to it, the number of shipping containers required for post-production logistics can be reduced by more than one 20%, compared to previous equipment, according to the data provided.
These solutions smart digital signage also support automatic adjustment of screen brightness, thanks to the incorporation of a sensor that reacts to surrounding light conditions, helping customers and users manage their energy consumption automatically. Besides, The resin used for the back covers contains a 10% of post-consumer materials (PCM).
Another evolution in this sense focuses on its solution of MagicINFO cloud-based management, which significantly improves remote management and helps efficiently manage multiple digital signage displays and a wide variety of content.
Specifically, the remote management function allows users to easily monitor the number of connected devices, its types and errors, as well as easily manage different devices and remotely control settings such as screen brightness, inter alia.
MagicINFO will also offer other features, such as diagnosing the status of devices, which will inform users of problems related to connecting cables, device temperature and network outages, that will be integrated during this year.

Led exterior signage in all formats
Another of Samsung's bets and announcements at ISE focuses on the sOutdoor Led Signage, with the new XHB series as a referent, which has been specially developed to respond to the needs of outdoor viewing in the sports industry and emblematic places.
The XHB series is available in four models with different pixel pitch: P6 (6 mm), P8, P10 and P16, and a maximum brightness of 8.000 nits, with exceptionally clear and stunning image quality, even in direct sunlight. Besides, The standardized design of the LED modules in this range guarantees a flexible and creative installation, from the concave design (with maximum curvature of 2500R), convex, in the form of S, fascia y a 90°L.
With a design twice as thin as the previous model, XHB series can be installed more easily, to which is added the time dedicated to it, which has been reduced by more than half, According to Samsung officials.
Besides, thanks to improved energy efficiency, XHB series reduces energy consumption by more than one 15% compared to its predecessor and can reduce approximately 2.492 tons of CO2 emissions per year, which is equivalent to the amount of CO2 generated by about 290.000 thirty year old pines in one year.
Once the contest ends, Samsung opens the possibility of ordering the XHB series. This small outdoor screen stands out for both its durability and outdoor visibility in a wide range of weather and lighting conditions, with a maximum brightness of 1.500 nits and a metallic and stylized design, con IP66 protection against water or dust, and for the IK-10 level display.
