Jambore jazz club renews its sound system with Voice-Acoustic

A sound system based on Voice-Acoustic. A total of two Score-8 and two Paveosub-118 are used as main PA, supported by a delay line of two other Score-8s for even level distribution.

Located in the Royal Square, next to La Rambla in Barcelona, he Jamboree Jazz & Dance It is not only one of the most famous jazz clubs in Spain, but also one of the oldest in Europe. From 1993, el Jamboree – sala1 has also been transformed into a dance club for R lovers&B, hip hop and dancehall with the best DJs in the city.

The Vaulted Basement Sound System 257 square meters (Jamboree – Sala 1), with capacity for 220 personas, It was extensively renovated earlier this year. The distribution partner of Voice-Acoustic, VTechnics in Lleida Route, was hired to design and build a new sound system for this cave-like basement.

Project director Francesc Güell (co-owner of VTècnics) has implemented its sound design with Voice-Acoustic Score-8. A total of two Score-8 and two Paveosub-118 as main PA, supported by a delay line with two other Score-8s for even level distribution.

A combination of Score-8 and a flown Paveosub-115 are used for sound reinforcement in each of the 3 adjoining rooms (VIP zone, bar and hallway room). For perfect control at live events, a total of six are available Modular-12 (bi-amplified) and two That-5 as monitoring. And for the DJ, two have been installed Modular-12 for accurate and powerful sound reproduction. The entire system is powered by six Voice-Acoustic power amplifiers HDSP (28 power amplifier channels).
