Modulo Pi commemorates its 15th anniversary

Moson, the French multimedia server manufacturer, celebrated its 15th anniversary at the Atelier des Lumières in Paris where clients, distributors, collaborators, operators and creative studios gathered to commemorate this milestone and review the history of the company founded in 2010 by engineer Yannick Kohn.

As he remembered Yannick Kohn in his speech to the public during the celebration, “The beginnings of Modulo Pi were marked by passion, the minds brimming with ideas and the countless hours of development, without investors, simply driven by the desire to create a tool truly adapted to the real needs of the sector”.

This vision led to the launch of Player module in 2012 y Modulo Kinetic en 2016. These two different platforms were designed for different applications: Modulo Player as a simple and robust tool for
everyday projects, and Modulo Kinetic as a system created for large-scale shows, interactivity and real-time applications

Since then, Modulo Pi has become a benchmark in France and has expanded internationally, working with distributors in Japan, China, the Benelux region, United States and Canada, in addition to its own direct operations. The company's solutions are widely used in the events sector (corporate events, moda, live shows) and in permanent installations for theme parks, museums and immersive spaces.

The celebration took place at the Atelier des Lumières last 19 November, an emblematic digital art center that opened its doors in 2018. The facility is equipped with 140 projectors video and 35 multimedia servers Modulo Kinetic. Guests were able to explore the venue illuminated with the colors of Modulo Pi, relive key moments in the company's history through videos that capture fifteen years of technological and human adventure, and discover the immersive exhibition The Little Prince, created by the Specter Lab studio. Attendees also had the opportunity to enjoy the Kids’ Atelier, an interactive immersive room 160 m² inaugurated in 2025. in this space, Visitors' drawings are scanned and integrated into the projection on
real time, allowing direct interaction with the content on the wall, thanks to the latest features of Modulo Kinetic

As Kohn emphasized, “in the end, What I am most proud of is not just the technology.. It is the spirit that we have managed to preserve: remain accessible, listen to real needs on the ground, continue to innovate based on our clients' projects and strive to maintain simplicity, even in very complex configurations”.

The interactivity, one of the main development axes of Modulo Pi, It will also occupy a prominent place at the ISE in Barcelona, where the company will present the new features of its multimedia servers at stand 5F220.
