EAW AC6 Adaptive brings sound clarity back to Christ Covenant Church

The installation, designed and integrated by Remote Production Group, represents the culmination of an effort modernization led by technical director Alexander Guadagno, audio engineer and consultant Michael Seaman, and the assembly and manufacturing specialist David Rasnake. The final design of the church sound system Christ Covenant has four EAW AC6 Adaptive column speakers arranged in two vertical columns of two boxes each, suspended to 4,8 meters from the stage floor to the lower box and finished in white to integrate perfectly into the worship environment. Between the two columns AC6, Remote Production Group installed a couple of RS series subwoofers in a configuration mono central to resolve the bass low frequency nodes and antinodes caused by the previous placement of subwoofers under the church stage.

Before update, the church received between 10 y 12 complaints per month, often related to sound intelligibility. Now, The new configuration has allowed the team to achieve a uniform and controlled coverage throughout the sanctuary.
