Merging Ovation 12

Merging Technologies will launch the 30 April, Ovation 12, the latest major update to your audio playback system and show sequencing software.

Ovation 12 represents a significant evolution of the popular platform, very widespread in theme parks, museums, broadcast and complex live productions from around the world, when introducing native video playback, Enhanced synchronization capabilities and expanded I/O performance for today's most demanding live and installation environments.

Video playback becomes an integral part of the show workflow with Ovation. Video files can now be dragged and dropped directly into playlists and handled like any other signal, even while the show is on. Audio fades and sync can be precisely aligned to the image using Ovation's active cues window, ensuring perfect synchronization during rehearsals and live operation.

Ovation 12 es compatible with all common video formats, and files can be easily trimmed directly in Ovation or prepared in Pyramix. Up to four video streams can be played simultaneously via standard computer graphics cards, delivering powerful visual integration without additional complexity.

Multiple LTC outputs

Complex productions often rely on multiple third-party systems for lighting, the video, special effects and automation. Ovation 12 enter to native multi-output LTC generation, allowing operators to control multiple external sequencers simultaneously, each with its own independent time code.

The LTC can be routed to any audio output, be generated at any frame rate and flexibly obtained from show time, lists of timed signals or individual signals. Timecode readings can be displayed anywhere on the operator screen, providing clear, real-time visibility into mission-critical environments.

This new capability eliminates workarounds and significantly simplifies synchronization in large-scale productions with multiple systems.

On the other hand, It should be noted that Ovation and Pyramix have long formed a powerful ecosystem, allowing sound designers to create content in Pyramix and publish it to Ovation with a single operation. Ovation 12 deepens this integration with a fully two-way automation exchange.

Automation data can now flow both ways between Ovation and Pyramix, allowing engineers to refine signals in Pyramix during rehearsals and seamlessly return them to the show environment, without losing automation details. This enhancement offers unprecedented flexibility to tailor productions up to show time.

Ovation 12 Significantly increases the number of simultaneous inputs and outputs available in native mode in Elements editions, Pro y Premium, while still scaling up to an extreme number of channels when combined with MassCore.

This expansion provides greater headroom for large-scale multichannel productions and reinforces Ovation's position as a high-resolution, low-latency platform designed for the most demanding applications..

In essence, Ovation remains a system of Fully redundant, high resolution playback with a highly customizable user interface, extensive protocol support, Live inputs and advanced automation tools. On-the-fly signal editing and robust synchronization make Ovation a must-have solution for productions where reliability is a must.
