As already mentioned Digital AV, Sony unveiled at ISE what will be the new generation of the WUXGA installation projector with laser light source technology. This innovative product will be the world's first 3LCD laser, a WUXGA projector (1920 x 1200) of 4.000 lumens, making it the brightest projector in its class and the first in the industry.

This new addition to Sony's collection of installation projectors, Follows the popular and award-winning design of the VPL-FH31 and VPL-FH36 models, part of the F series that is widely considered the flagship product of its category in Europe. The chassis is designed for optimal flexibility with a clean, white finish, designed to blend in with its surroundings.

The laser light source projector is free from the worry of lamp replacement due to its longer durability and low cost of ownership.. With newly developed BrightEra 3LCD technology, The projector has an autonomy time of 20.000 hours, depending on the surrounding conditions and projector configuration. This feature, based on market demands, It is especially important in the business and education sectors where the projector is used for long periods of time.

3LCD laser

Based on Sony laser light source technology, the projector incorporates lasers, instead of LEDs, to achieve optimal shine. The white light, like traditional UHP light sources, is driven on the 3LCD engine to deliver incredible image quality. As a result, laser light source projector has substantially brighter images, best contrast ratio and exceptional color stability.

The projector also features a picture mute mode that allows the user to quickly start the presentation once the mute mode has been deactivated.. This function allows smooth presentation of images with high color reproduction. It also offers incredible installation flexibility due to its free tilt, with an efficient portrait mode to ensure that the projector is easy to use for both the corporate market and the education market.
