Since the month of August, Joe Kaeser, CFO of Siemens AG since 2006, is the new President and CEO of the German multinational, instead of Peter Löscher who held this responsibility since 2007.
Siemens AG its chief financial officer; has revamped its management structure with the designation as new President and CEO of the multinational Joe Kaeser, technology so far a decision adopted unanimously by the supervisory board of the company.
56 years of age, Kaeser will maintain the culture of integrity established in the company by its predecessor, and regarded as a world leader in the technology sector, as they have recognized and thanked the members of the supervisory board: "Peter Löscher regained the high reputation of Siemens and helped achieve significant successes. Under his leadership, Siemens has experienced two of the most successful years in its history".
In his speech as new President and CEO Kaeser has been blunt: "our company, definitely, is not in crisis, as it is true that you need a large restructuring. I declare that my goal is to return to Siemens, its balance and create a high performance team. For fall, the Siemens team will provide information on the future development of the program of the company and facilitate company medium-term vision. You will see it: there will be a Siemens after the 2014 ".
For his part, Peter Löscher will continue to collaborate with the company until September 30, and will continue to partner with Siemens AG, as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Siemens Stiftung.
