JBL PD6000

JBL Professional, brand of the multinational professional audio Harman Group, has announced in WHEREAS 2014 the launch of the PD6000 series of directional speakers. Designed for medium and large venues that require excellent control, high output capacity, configuration individually or in array applications, This series complements the large PD700 mid-high systems with a more compact size and greater affordability., while the PD6000 have a greater SPL capacity. The PD6000 series is ideal for stadiums, arenas, art installations, theaters, auditoriums, worship spaces…

It consists of fourteen models, which include four systems 3 full range pathways, four systems 2 ways of 12 inches, four medium-high systems 2 tracks and two low frequency models. The coverage includes the original 40×30, 60×40 y 90×50. With the introduction of the PD6000 series, an additional coverage pattern of 60 is incorporated×60.

Harman an ISE 2014

The PD series, with injection molded rotating waveguides, allowed JBL to offer a more cost-effective high-quality speaker to the market. The average frequency of 24×24 inches PT (Progressive Transition) of waveguides provide excellent pattern control along with low distortion and extremely natural sound. This is also the case with high frequency PT waveguides in 12×12 inches . These rotating waveguides provide the system designer the flexibility to use PD6000 models, either in horizontal or vertical orientations .
