Software available for Yamaha CL and QL digital consoles and StageMix app

Yamaha CL and QL digital mixing consoles now have firmware V2.03 and CL Editor, as well as V1.07 and QL Editor v1.03 updates, respectively, available as free downloads. The company has presented version 4.5 for your StageMix iPad app.

The multinational Yamaha firmware V2.03 and CL Editor for CL series consoles are available for free download; firmware V1.07 and QL Editor v1.03 updates for QL series consoles and version 4.5 from the StageMix iPad app for QL, CL, M7CL y LS9.

New additions in firmware V2.03 for the CL digital console include:

• Inserciones ‘Daisy chain’. Users can insert two devices on a single channel or bus.
• DCA control on main channels, stereo/mono bus o Matrix Mix.
• Quick DCA Roll button access to DCA tasks on fader banks.
• Monitor gain reduction meters assigned to the channel display.
• CL consoles now support Mix minus function, which removes a specific channel signal from the signals sent to the Mix buses / Matrix.
• New functions can be assigned to user-defined keys, Assignable knobs and encoders.
• Users can temporarily unmute a muted channel in the mute group.
• Recall Safe parameters are bound for bound channels.
• If gain compensation is enabled, Users can link digital gain to analog gain operation.
• Users can compare the sound before and after gain adjustments during GEQ operations.

StageMix Features 4.5 for control on iPad for CL consoles, QL, M7CL y LS9:

• Full control of the console oscillator.
• Direct channel navigation on CPE editor screens / GEQ / Dynamics.
• Pre-adjust / global post for mix shipping.
• Nomination of Mute groups.
• Connection between analog and digital gain.
• insert 1/2 in equalization

Firmware V1.07 for QL offers minor improvements for users of this console. Firmware updates and Editor software updates are available free of charge at this link. StageMix 4.5 can be downloaded for free from the iTunes store or directly to an iPad via the iOS App Store.
