Digital communication and entertainment with digital signage in sports centers

Spaces specialized in sports and fitness are increasingly inclined to adopt display solutions as a communication system with their members and visitors., both to promote their services and offer broadcasting of sporting events to make their stay more attractive. Located in Granada, BeOne Fitness Club is a new sports space of more than 11.000 square meters of surface that offers the inhabitants of this beautiful and monumental Andalusian city six semi-covered paddle tennis courts, relaxation area with sauna, foot bath, ice fountain, thermal showers, steam baths, heat benches and a large 1,200m2 fitness room, to which are added two indoor swimming pools and six activity rooms equipped with visualization technologies to offer a unique experience for subscribers..

One of the main objectives of those responsible for BeOne was to adequately and attractively inform subscribers., guests and visitors of all the services provided by the club in its facilities, activity schedules, promotions, events, sale of sports equipment, etc. combining the broadcast of said content with that of sporting events broadcast on television.

For this project they have trusted the Spanish manufacturer Tecco, specialized in comprehensive digital signage solutions, that in collaboration with the system integrator company, has designed a digital communication channel, composed of sixteen screens equipped with fifteen players aracast Dual and one aracast HD, managed with aracast Designer software from a centralized point in the club.

To be able to share the broadcast of internal information content of the center (activity schedules, salas, events, etc.) with the broadcast of TV sporting events, The players were equipped with the Aracast TDT gadget (USB digital terrestrial television module), which allows drawing a television window within the content template.

To maintain an agile and effective digital information channel over time, Tecco proposed to BeOne the use of its aracast Updater solution, offering an unattended update, since it extracts the information from a file (in this case Excel) and updates it on the screens.

Thanks to aracast Updater, any modification made to said Excel file is also automatically modified on the screens, which greatly facilitates the daily management work of the channel.
