Visual systems and technical consoles for the new control center 4.0 from Matsa

In order to centralize the control of the mining operations of Aguas Teñidas and Magdalena, the company has just inaugurated an innovative control center with technology 4.0 to improve decision making and coordination of mine operations, ensuring the safety of workers, as Audra Walsh has pointed out, CEO of Matsa.

The control center has a video wall, in configuration 3×1, from the Belgian firm Barco, from which technicians can verify the most relevant operational information of mining operations, Designed according to ergonomic standards to facilitate the comfort and work of workers.

Also supplied by Roomdimensions (RDI), The center has control consoles from the LAN range of this manufacturer; a modular technical solution, allowing the creation of a multitude of configurations to adapt the operator's workplace in operations environments 24/7.

LAN console features optimal cable management, providing the installer with multiple possibilities for locating power outlets, data, VGA, etc. Each workstation has an electronic module for the computer equipment of each operator.

Besides, el Device Support System (DSS)It is an accessory integrated into the console structure that allows the location of all connectivity, small computers and electronic equipment, like PC, SFF, KVM y Thin Client, with a clean organization, efficient and productive use of all technological resources in the workplace.

From this new Matsa operations center, Technicians can monitor multiple systems, among which is the Scada of interior mine services, as well as CCTV, inter alia, paramonitor and control ventilation equipment inside the mine, water extraction stations and transformation centers.
