The Malaga New Technologies Observatory will show innovative virtual museum projects

The third edition of Malaga New Technologies Observatory, that will take place in the next 17 y 18 July in the in the National Digital Content Pole, offers its attendees a unique opportunity to learn in detail and through experts the new technological trends that museums are implementing.
The Directory of Museums of Spain collects more than 2.000 museum references, house-museums, foundations, collections, historical places of interest, etc; but without a doubt, The reference of the national proposal in art is the Prado Museum.
For this reason, it is one of the references of the edition 2019 of the New Technologies Observatory of Malaga, in which those responsible will precisely show the innovative immersive experience 360, which has the latest technology and binaural sound, that this entity has launched.
This differential project in the museum environment has been carried out by four companies, precisely housed in the National Digital Content Pole of Malaga: Patron 2.0, Feel, 3in-tech y Krill Audio, who have worked in collaboration with the Department of Education and the Digital Development Area of the Prado Museum.
The heads of these four companies will form a panel in which they will explain all the details of this star project, that attendees will also be able to enjoy in the Demo Area of the Digital Content Pole during the two days that the event lasts..
Another success story in this sense is that of the recently inaugurated National Museum of Qatar, which can also be seen at the Malaga Observatory from the audiovisual specialist and integrator I am (more details in Digital AV), who participated in the main museography project worldwide that has been carried out in recent decades, and includes an impressive interactive mural configured by screens.
Francis Sabata, Sono COO, will explain the details of an emblematic project worldwide, in which the company has been working since the year 2017 and which was inaugurated last March, which is already known throughout the world as The Desert Rose.
At the Malaga Observatory there will also be, one more year, the Melilla company Opossum, photogrammetry expert, and that in previous editions he presented his virtual reproductions of the walled city of Melilla and the subsoil of the Carmen Thyssen Museum in Malaga, which were the most visited and valued demos by attendees.
In this third edition, Gabriel Gonzalvez, CEO of Opossum, will present his latest works in photogrammetry, technique used in virtual reality projects, and will provide the company's vision on the state of this technology, increasingly used in multiple environments and the applications carried out by this specialist.
For your part, the audiovisual multinational Lavinia, with headquarters in Barcelona, Madrid, Seville and twelve other Spanish cities, besides Brussels, Paris, Berlin, Moscow and Beijing, It will also join the Malaga Observatory to show its applications for museums and exhibitions.
