Illuminarium Experiences arrives in Toronto accompanied by Christie laser projection

Behind the scenes of the new immersive entertainment venue located in the Distillery District, six M 4K25 RGB devices Christie set the stage to welcome visitors; while twenty Griffyn 4K35-RGB systems, installed in the main space, they immerse the public in the two shows.

Illuminarium Experiences has opened, in collaboration with Secret Location, its first Canadian location in Toronto's historic Distillery District. The space of 1.250 square meters incorporates almost 30 Christie RGB Pure Laser Projectors. In this place, visitors are invited to live various experiences and allow them to see, hear, feel and influence the space around them. The new experience opens with two immersive shows.

On the one hand, Waking Wonderland, Inspired by Lewis Carroll's classic novel “through the looking glass”, takes visitors through multiple projection environments and includes 7,2 millions of frames in real time and more than 30 unique interactions. On the other hand, Space: A Journey to the Moon and Beyond uses images from the James Webb Space Telescope to travel through the solar system, with screens 360 degrees and a countdown to take off in a rocket.

Six M 4K25 laser projectors They help set the stage for visitors as they enter, illuminating the pre-show experience with a combined power of 150.000 lumens. Twenty pure laser projectors Griffyn 4K35-RGB are installed in the main space to immerse the public in the two shows. The latter are designed for demanding applications in large venues, con 36.500 lumens, native 4K resolution and performance 44 dBA, so they don't distract from the show.

Christie Professional Services team provides long-term service and support to Illuminarium to ensure AV systems continue to function.
